Why an Expression of Interest process?

An Expression of Interest (EOI) is a formal and transparent way to gauge interest in the number of schools that would like to host a community hub through our National Community Hubs Program. Hubs are funded by a combination of federal, state and philanthropic funding so there is a ceiling on the amount of resources available. The EOI allows us to understand the demand for hubs, as well as the unique characteristics of individual schools applying, which in turn helps us understand which schools are suitable for a hub.
Community Hubs Australia will use the EOIs submitted to form a short list of schools that may qualify for a hub.
